It’s weekend once again so I made lasagna for our merienda!
Here are the ingredients and procedure:
Lasagna pasta
Procedure:
Boil the lasagna as instructed on the box. (mine is 10 mins.)
Bechamel sauce (a.k.a. White sauce)
butter
all purpose flour
evaporated milk
grated quickmelt cheese
salt
pepper
nutmeg
Procedure:
1. Melt butter in a pan.
2. Add flour.
3. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
4. Since I wanted it to be cheesy, I added grated cheese.
5. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Red sauce:
miced onion
minced garlic
ground pork
button mushrooms
ham
salami
tomato sauce
Procedure:
1. Saute ground pork with garlic and onion until it changes color.
2. Add mushrooms, ham, salami.
3. Add tomato sauce.
4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Grease a pyrex dish. Layer in the pasta, spread the red sauce, put another layer of the pasta. You can do this again as long as you end up with the bechamel sauce on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and mozzarella cheese. Then bake until golden brown. (Again, sorry I can’t indicate the temperature because our oven is not automatic.)
I didn’t know that it would taste this good! Thanks to pinoyfoodblog.com for this wonderful recipe!
My whole family loved it specially my hubby! Next time, I will try to lessen the white sauce or add more tomato sauce!
