Neat Freak Mom

Don’t stress the small stuff – the dishes will never be all clean, the laundry will never be all done, the grass will always need to be mowed. But, your kids only want you around so long so enjoy them when they are little. You can have a clean house after they’re grown up and moved out.

I felt guilty when I read this quote. This is SO me because I’m a neat freak. I want everything to be in order but I find cleaning our room difficult ever since I had a baby.Oftentimes I let her watch TV (playhouse Disney) so that I could clean up a bit but that only works a little while. I can’t take my eyes off my baby because she might fall out of bed, touch something that is dangerous or put something in her mouth that is not safe! You also have to play with her so that she can enhance her skills and not get bored. I know I can never turn back time so I guess I just have to cherish every moment that I spend with my child.
