I’m absent today because I have to take care of my baby, Nicole. She has a fever since yesterday morning. Her fever is on and off and she’s been cranky. She refused to take in food and even nurse from me! This afternoon, we went to her Pedia so that I would stop worrying! I was so relieved when her Pedia said that she has tonsilitis! Thank God, it’s not the dreaded dengue! I just felt sorry for her that she needs to take in antibiotics (Amoxicillin) 3x a day for 7 days aside from Paracetamol for her fever.
I hope she didn’t get that from me because I often have tonsilitis. That’s why I seldom drink cold beverages and too much sweets. Whenever I will eat such, I make sure I have my meds available. If I don’t drink my meds, I get a sore throat or flu! But there’s one thing I can’t help myself from eating… ice cream! tsk…tsk…tsk…

Drinking cold beverages or eating sweets has nothing to do with attracting a bacterial or viral infection (wiki tonsillitis)
