After almost 2 years of not watching a movie in a theatre, my hubby and I treated ourselves yesterday in watching Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen in the new Eastwood Mall’s Cinema Ultra 7! It’s such a great coincidence because the last movie that we watched in a theatre was Transformers 1!
Watching in Ultra 7 is quite pricey (Php 401/ticket) but the ambience is superb! You get to sit in their purple lazy boy’s reclining chair plus unlimited drinks and popcorn! Unfortunately, they only have sodas & water for the drinks and have 3 popcorn flavors (plain, cheese and bbq). Honestly, we didn’t eat that much popcorn because we’re too engrossed watching the movie!
After watching, we took our dinner in The Old Vine by: Chef’s Quarters. We ordered for soup of the day (vegetable soup), french onion soup (not recommended), Churrasco Beef tenderloin, roasted chicken and ube cheesecake for dessert!
Even if my hubby was not satisfied with the story, I would say the movie was awesome! It has great graphics and special effects though I have to admit the acting is not that good… :p

I’ve never seen a cinema as cool as this one. Galing ng Eastwood noh? I also ate at Old Vine after watching transfomers but i ordered beef ribs naman which is really so delicious. My mom order baby back ribs. It was good daw, but she liked my order better.

I’ve tried Old Vine’s ube cheesecake, it was delicious! Love the restaurants at Easrwood Mall! The last time I went there, I saw a signage saying that Johnny Rockets will open there. I remember this restaurant when I was in the US… I could drink their malts all day. Can’t wait for it to open!

@ Cheska
I’ve also seen Johnny Rockets and will try it as soon as it opens!
The Ube cheesecake was good but it’s not really what I’m expecting!
@ Celine
Old Vine’s ok but I personally think their branch Chef’s Quarter’s (SM Megamall) is better.

Oh I love watching at Eastwood Cinemas. The cinemas have the best rocker seats and the Ultra 7 cinema is just awesome. No need to get up for a refill on popcorn yeah!
