December 29 was Nicole’s 1st birthday! I didn’t have the time to blog about it because I’ve been busy lately.
We’ve attended several birthday parties but most of the time the celebrant is not enjoying the party. So my hubby and I decided to celebrate it at home to have unlimited time and accommodate more [...]
Today is Nicole’s first Christmas! After attending the Christmas eve mass, we ate our Noche Buena then doze off to sleep! zzzzz…

We just came back from our trip to Coron and it was really a memorable experience. Nicole as a lot of firsts in this trip. I will just document it so she would know when she grows up!
Here are some of Nicole’s firsts:
ride a plane
go swimming
go to the beach.
climb a mountain
see animals other than the [...]
Here’s a video of Nicole dancing while she was watching the opening song of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
These 2 videos are taken on separate dates but she has the same choreography! LOL

We’ve been teaching our baby how to kiss. At first, she will place her forehead on your cheek if you’re asking to be kissed. But ever since she learned how to kiss properly, she will kiss anything from us (her parents) and even her toys. Like the one shown in this video.

This was taken last Sunday when we went to Shangrila. I only had the time to upload it today. Anyway, while Nicole and I were waiting for our order in Wendy’s we were playing “show me your tongue”. Aside from her usual “beautiful eyes” act, this is her version of showing her tongue. [...]
After Nicole fell out of our bed, she is now fond of banging her head with a remote or with her hands. I’m not sure why is she doing that.
I did some googling and baby center says:
Head banging and body rocking are normal self-comforting behaviors in babies. The rhythmic back-and-forth movements may soothe your baby [...]
After 10 months, today is the first time Nicole fell out of our bed. I felt so guilty because I wasn’t able to catch her in time. We were just watching TV then I placed something beside our bed (which is not far from her) then BBLLAAGG!!! She fell! I’ve seen her fell face down [...]
Nicole was supposed to practice swimming this afternoon in my hubby’s cousin’s subdivision. Unfortunately, she was so cranky and doesn’t want to sleep. She had her afternoon nap from 4pm - 6pm so we were not able to push through with the plan.
While she was sleeping, my hubby and I watched the new Knight Rider [...]
My hubby and I brought Nicole in our office today to participate in our annual trick or treat! This would be her first time to attend such activity. As much as I want to buy her a halloween costume, there’s no available size for her so I just bought her wings with a wand and [...]
This is Nicole while tearing her 1st book “Savannah Animals - Lion King”. This is the reason why I bought her board books. But it seems like board book still doesn’t meet her standards!

This is a shot from my phone while my baby Nicole is making her “beautiful eyes” act! This was taken last Sunday while we’re eating in Wendy’s. I don’t know what’s with that day but she was fond of playing with her eyes! Finally, I was able to take a photo of her teeth!

These pictures are taken on different dates and as you notice, they’re all the same pose! hahaha!!! She will always go to the same spot over and over! I don’t know what’s with the window but Nicole is very curious of looking what’s outside. Or perhaps, she wants to clean our window?! She’s fond of collecting dust! [...]
Nicole turned 9 months today! Since it’s my OFF from work, I cooked lasagna side from the usual cake and pancit! This time, I added more tomato sauce to compliment with the bechamel sauce. Unlike the previous version of lasagna that I made, my hubby was able to eat 3 big blocks of lasagna! [...]
My baby loves gadgets! Everytime my hubby and I use the cell phone or laptop our baby will come over and grab it! To prevent her from destroying our things, we gave her our old cell phone and our old keyboard! LOL

Every parent is allowed to have a bad day here and there, it’s only human. If you find yourself angry at your kids, walk away and take a few deep breaths and know that no matter what, your kids still love you. Again, you’re only human.
Taking care of your baby is such a hard task. [...]
Don’t stress the small stuff - the dishes will never be all clean, the laundry will never be all done, the grass will always need to be mowed. But, your kids only want you around so long so enjoy them when they are little. You can have a clean house after they’re grown up and [...]
Our baby, Nicole turned 8 months today! As usual we celebrate it with a cake, spaghetti and pancit courtesy of her grandma! She already mastered crawling forward and sitting by herself.

I would consider choosing the name of your baby as one of the most important things that you should do before giving birth. This is because your child will carry that name ALL his/her life! You should choose a name that will jive with your last name, will not have a funny sounding nickname and [...]
Since we bought the Brainy Baby book, she can already point for the giraffe, zebra, tiger, and snake. I think she can recognize those animals from her Lion King book since that’s her first. My hubby and I are trying to familiarize her with the pictures until she master all of them.
