My hubby and I have been looking for a storage device because all of our drives are exploding with files and we already have tons of pudding full of DVDs! We need a device that could store all of our precious memories recorded in our Sony HDR-SR10 camcorder. But when we saw the Popcorn Hour A-110, we immediately knew this is the perfect device that would fit our needs!

Here are some of it’s awesome features:

High Definition Full HD (1080p) video playback

Playback support for most video and audio format

stream or playback digital media contents from PC, USB, digicam, etc.

Bit Torrent downloader

connect a USB keyboard or use the remote to surf the web

Web 2.0 Services – content streaming over the internet (YouTube, RSS, Internet Radio, Podcast, NBA, TV, Apple Trailer)

P2P live internet video streaming powered by SayaTV technology

Network Attached Storage (NAS) functionality

Has 2 USB ports so you could connect an external USB drive.

What we like about this device is you can connect it to your network through it’s ethernet port or use the WN-100 to make it wireless! What we’re planning to do is to put the device in our room, install a 1TB hard disk in the popcorn, connect it to our Samsung LA32R81B LCD TV then connect it wirelessly in our existing Linksys WRT100N!

The current price of the Popcorn Hour A-110 is Php13500. Pricey??!!! Nnnaaaahhhh… I personally think the price is just right with things that it can do for you! Once the 1TB hd becomes full, we’ll connect 2 TB external hard drives and make it RAID!

Now we know where would our bonuses go this coming payday!
